First Day of Kindergarten
And Last Day of Kindergarten
(well second to last, they had field day on their last day)
Each year she loses more and more of the sweet baby face look. :(
Had to choke back tears today when she hopped off the bus wearing her 'Officially a First Grader' hat!
Sad story though. Bella had field day on her last day of school and they were apparently go go go the whole day and she ended up wetting her pants (hence the brownie girl skirt in the above picture). :( Her teacher called me and told me she had come to tell her but they just couldn't get to the bathroom quick enough. Poor baby! Thankfully she said she handled it quite well and she hasn't seemed to embarrassed about it. She hasn't wet her pants in well over a year, maybe even two, I'm just so sad that that was how she ended her last day. I'm so thankful though that she doesn't seem phased by it and is excited to enjoy her summer!
I'm also secretly thrilled she burst into tears the other night when I asked if she was ready for first grade. I asked why she was crying and she said she didn't want to be away from me all day. Love this girl!!
