The Perfect Evening....
The other night our family had a PERFECT evening. The weather was just divine, sunny and high 70s. The hubs has been working so hard to finish our basement any free moment he has, so he promised the girls some playtime after naps the other day. We got the sprinkler, put it under the trampoline, and they (well I should say Bella- but more on that another day) had a grand old time bouncing around in the water. It brought me such joy to just sit and watch the girls find such pleasure in being silly with their daddy. I sat and snapped pictures the entire time. I wish I could share all 50+ of them but let me share my favorites of the girls and their real life prince charming. : )

A sad night.....
So last night, during one of our many freakish, lightning/thunderstorms we've been having lately, I was watching it all happen out our front window. It was quite magnificent. Bolts everywhere lighting up the night sky, looking as if they were touching the ground. All of a sudden during the show, I saw this large pickup truck pull up in front of our house. Now in our front yard is this beautiful house/cottage the girls have. They just love it and play in it non stop.
To my horror I watched two men get out of this pick up truck and some how miraculously load it on to the back of their truck and speed off. I started screaming for the hubs and went running out into the terrible storm to, well, try something. As soon as I ran out there to my surprise a cop car happen to be going by. I immediately told him what happened and watched as he drove off in the direction the truck had gone. My spirit was so crushed. I loved that house, the girls loved that house, and I didn't think I'd ever see it again. I could feel the tears beginning to build....

....and then I woke up. Since becoming pregnant I have been having the craziest dreams. They are SO real to me and effect me so deeply. Thankfully when I wake the relief comes. I had one another night that I had totally been forgetting to go to one of my college classes, the panic felt so real, and there was no way for me to pass the class now. I was so scared, I truly felt I was flunking out of college, until I finally woke up.
Anyway, just had to share a little of my crazy with you, guess the bowling size, black hail in my dream should have tipped me off. : )

Little Bean Update....
I just can't seem to get my butt in gear after the weekend to get a post out by Monday! And here its practically almost Wednesday morning and I'm attempting my Tuesday post. : ) Ah, such is life right now.
I thought I would give a Little Bean update. Sadly, Little Bean still remains nameless. The hubs and I can not agree for the life of us. We may just have to wait to meet this little one before we'll know what we want to call her. That so goes against everything in my being! At my last appointment (June 10) I was officially up 13 pounds. As of Sunday I was officially 30 weeks and as of yesterday Little Bean will be here in 9 weeks. Crazy huh?! At my last appointment we were able to pick Little Bean's birthday and it will be August 23! My favorite OB will be doing my surgery and the one that delivered Bella and Brynn, the one with the most experience in the practice, will be there assisting, so I couldn't be happier with how that worked out.
I'm feeling large, I feel like my skin can't stretch any more, sitting down for too long is tough because she likes to rest right up in my rib cage, peaceful sleeping is a thing of the past, and she is a kicking queen! But all that said, I love being pregnant and I'm just enjoying the blessing of having a precious little one on the way.
Here is my 28 week photo. Taken while we were away celebrating our anniversary in Florida!
I didn't have my usual pregnancy picture outfit, just the pants but you get the gist. I really didn't want to post this picture, I look enormous! Please notice there is a massive shadow behind me in the pic that adds to back and behind, I'm not that large, k? : )
Can I possibly have 9 more weeks to grow, I don't think my skin can take it! : )

Precious Family Photos....
K, time to show off my wonderful hubby's talent again! My wonderful college roomie and her beautiful family came over for some beautiful family photos recently. We have had each of our three children very close together and each had two girls. But she just had her third and its a boy! Here are some of my favorite shots- The Hubs did the shooting and I edited. I think they turned out fabulous if I do say so myself-mostly thanks to the hubby's great talents of
course! : )
How precious is this little man!?
And of course his two beautiful, big sisters!

Go Cubbies Go!
Also at the end of May (sorry having to back track a bit to catch up) we had the wonderful opportunity to attend a college alumni event. Its an annual tradition. We go with some of our besties, the Chevriers, and we use it as our excuse to get to our one Cub's game of the year! Each of our girlies has come one year when they were infants but this year we got to be solo. Our backyard neighbors and good friends graciously took the girls for the lengthy time we would be gone. We did however call it early so it wasn't too late of a night for them and the Cubbies were losing bad (big surprise this year) anyway! First there is dinner at Harry Carrey's and then we hit a night game.
Here we are with the Chevriers:
My lovely hubby likes to do crazy things with the camera and take silly pictures of Somer and me, this is one of the fairly normal ones. : )
It was a bit of a slow, low action, losing game. The highlight of the game was when the lights went out during the fourth inning. Everyones' camera flashes were going off, it was quite entertaining.
Finally, got the lights back up and running! Such a fun evening out. : )
