This last month has been an overwhelming, scary, joyous, sweet, and absolutely treasured time.
Just over a month ago we welcomed our fourth baby girl.
Yes I said fourth baby.
And yes I said fourth baby GIRL.
In case you can't tell the comments I get about having 4 girls really drives me crazy.
Oh wow you're brave...
Just wait till high school...
That's going to be expensive...
Going to try for that boy...
You name it, I've heard it.
But you know what? I love my girls. Yes I would have loved to give my husband a son but he is an perfect daddy to girls. Funny enough just yesterday 101.9 radio station mentioned a study that was done recently that said men who have daughters are much better men. They're more caring, generous, etc. And I have to say that's true for the hubs. I know we will have some high levels of drama in our future but I also look forward to all the good times too. The girl's nights where we can stay up painting our nails, watching chick flicks, and talking boys (and I'm hoping this is the WAY distant future ;) ). I definitely view the raising of four daughters as God's mission for my life. Right now this is my ministry, this is where I choose to be serving whole heartily. I feel overwhelming pressure to raise Godly women but I'm up for the challenge with God in my corner (and a great hubby by my side)!
Anyway, just thought I'd pop on here and mention that baby girl has arrived and is a complete treasure that has definitely completed our family!!
