Go Cubbies Go!

Also at the end of May (sorry having to back track a bit to catch up) we had the wonderful opportunity to attend a college alumni event. Its an annual tradition. We go with some of our besties, the Chevriers, and we use it as our excuse to get to our one Cub's game of the year! Each of our girlies has come one year when they were infants but this year we got to be solo. Our backyard neighbors and good friends graciously took the girls for the lengthy time we would be gone. We did however call it early so it wasn't too late of a night for them and the Cubbies were losing bad (big surprise this year) anyway! First there is dinner at Harry Carrey's and then we hit a night game.

My lovely hubby likes to do crazy things with the camera and take silly pictures of Somer and me, this is one of the fairly normal ones. : )

It was a bit of a slow, low action, losing game. The highlight of the game was when the lights went out during the fourth inning. Everyones' camera flashes were going off, it was quite entertaining.

Finally, got the lights back up and running! Such a fun evening out. : )

Can't believe Bella's first year of preschool has come to an end. If she wasn't returning next year it would be quite sad. : ( She was very particular about what she wanted to wear for her last day. Obviously this momma was a bit more emotional about the day then this big girl. I obsessively followed her around with my camera, capturing the last day fun. : ) Here are just a few:

She was so excited to bring each of her teachers her gifts- homemade cookies and a Starbucks card!

Hello my long, lost friends and family! It feels so good to be back and writing again. I've been so torn with not having the time or energy to blog but really missing it! Thankfully, the hubs made more room on our computer so hopefully I can be back up and running soon. I have a lot of life to catch you up on. : ) I hope to have my first post ready some time tomorrow. Hopefully you have not forgotten or moved on from me in my absence. I promise to try to be a much better blogger, especially for you mom (someone, I'm sure, is going through Bella and Brynn withdrawal)!

Enjoying Sun and Relaxation!

Well I'm hanging out in the lobby of our resort for some wifi access while the hubs watches the Lakers. I wanted to pop on and say what a wonderful relaxing time we're having on our anniversary trip. We slept in until 9:30 (8:30 our time) this morning which was just divine and I'm looking forward to doing it again tonight! I've been tweeting lots to keep family and friends (and you!) posted on our happenings, so be sure to check them out. We have been checking in each night, via Skype, on the girls and I'm pretty sure they don't miss us. Poppi and Mormor Domier are keeping them active and happy!

Unfortunately, we have been terrible at carrying the nice camera with us so we're always snapping pics with our phones, so our pics aren't the greatest quality. Just going to leave you with some pics of the wonderful place we are staying (The Westin Diplomat), so you can drool. : )

Guess where we're going!?

Well I had great plans for a couple of posts to schedule but alas due to our obsession of taking photographs, in one years time, we have managed to completely fill our Mac computer space! It won't allow me to upload any photos right now, so that is my reason for lack of photos/posting recently. Soon the hubs will do some opening of space for me so I can get back to my blogging self!

Just wanted to jump on today and let you know our latest excitement! The hubs and I are going away, just the two of us, for the first time in 9 years! Due to the impending approach of our 10 year anniversary (June 10th) we decided it was high time we got away, especially before Little Bean makes her arrival, cause who knows when we'll get another chance. So I'm taking my huge, 7 months pregnant, self to the warm beaches of Miami. We were considering a cruise from there but most have a 22 week pregnancy cut off, shucks! So the hubs, through work, got an amazing deal at a resort that is usually $300-$400 a night, so we plan to chill there for 6 whole days!

What? What about the kiddos you ask? No worries, Grandpa and Grandma Domier are in town to manage them, so they'll be in good hands! I had no problem leaving them for the first time, until last night. I suddenly had a bit of a panic attack about it, but I'm sure as soon as I see the beach my worries will quickly fade. : )

My anal self has typed, oh, 6 pages of lovely notes for the grandparents, so I'm sure they'll know just what to do. : )
