Some Christmas Pics....

Tried to get some pics to use for our Christmas card this year but didn't end up being crazy enough about any of them.  But they're still too cute not to share!
Oh taking pics of 3 little ones is oh so fun and easy. ;)

This one would not sit still without her sissies.

But then things just got silly!

Breakfast with Baby Jesus....

Our MOPS group put on the best event this December.  It was called Breakfast with Jesus.  Since the hubs is not a big fan of Santa I knew he'd appreciate this event.  We had a yummy breakfast while different characters from the very first Christmas (wise men, shepherds, angels, etc.) came around talking about their role.  There was a small family craft and the story was told of the first Christmas.  We also had a chance to take a pic with "Mary, Joseph, and Baby Jesus."  The girls loved every minute  of it!

Waiting to go in!

We ran up and snuck in a pic with baby Jesus while waiting for breakfast, Brooke couldn't get enough. :)
They also had a photographer there doing pics.
All these besties were wearing the Christmas shirts I made them last year. :)

A fun event and hopefully something that will be a future tradition!

Tree Decorating....

So after I had to restring the tree a total of FOUR times and get a new strand of lights we were finally able to decorate our gorgeous tree.
The girls just loved it!

Christmas Tree of 2012...

So last year we decided to start the tradition of getting a real Christmas tree.  However, my dad came in for a surprise visit last year and we wanted to do the tree with him so we just grabbed one at Home Depot.  So this year we headed to the farm!  I look forward to continuing this tradition ever year!

(yes Brooke was still in her boa phase :) )
Got a hayride out to the fields of trees!
Amazingly it was 60 degrees that day when we started out!
Found our perfect tree!
(and then the batteries went out on our nice camera :( )
Daddy with his lumber jacks.
(daddy obviously keeping a close eye on the baby with a saw :) )

These tough guys did great getting our tree down!
Each kiddo found a tree their size

The temps dropped pretty quickly once we lost the sun so we cuddled up on our hay ride back.
And closed our fun day with hot cocoa, such a precious and fun family memory!
