It can't be possible...

I know I've been a terrible blogger, but with this being our crazy birthday month and all our family in town there is little time for me to pop on here!

But I had to make time today.

Today (well technically yesterday since its after midnight) was my precious firstborn's birthday.
5 years ago today (yesterday) at 3:14pm the Lord blessed us with our first baby girl a month early!
Although she had a dramatic entrance she was perfectly healthy and as beautiful as ever.
There's so much to say but not tonight.
Up late preparing for the big double party tomorrow.
I love you Bella bean and you'll always be my baby girl. :)

Birthday Month!!

So I've got some catching up to do!!

If you're new to our blog, something fun about our family, is all of our birthday's (except for our newest addition) are literally 10 days apart!
The Hub's: February 5th (as well as my mom)
Brynn- 15th
Bella- 25th
And me- March 7th
My grandma's was the 1st and my SIL's is the 22nd.
So we are on birthday overload here!

Here are some pics from the Hub's day:
I had a sweet little helper helping me get daddy's cake ready, while he and big sis played in the snow. :)

I think she just did it to lick the beaters. :)

For some reason our creation sunk when all was said and done. I don't seem to have very good luck with baking these days. It wasn't pretty but it still tasted good! :)

Man the hubs is old. Half way to 40. Yikes. Just kidding love!

I had secretly arranged child care (for the older girls) and wanted to get some close friends together for dinner at his favorite place, Wildfire. Unfortunately, most couldn't make it. But one of our closest couple friends graciously were able to join us and it was just perfect!

Thanks Chevriers for celebrating my man with me!
And thank you Kissingers for watching the big girls!
Afterwards, we came home, sang, and ate a 'beautiful' cake with daddy!

Happy Birthday love of my life!

Yesterday. (Warning: this post involves talk of poop)

Yesterday was one of my hardest days as a mom, maybe ever.

I was up a lot the night before. Brynn woke at 2am having to go to the bathroom and Brooke woke 3 times, for who knows what reason. So needless to say, I started the day tired and cranky to begin with.

One tired momma
(and since I had to stop typing here cause duty called, I have to mention that today too was also a hard day)
plus a really crabby, now, three year old with two other children to attend to, make for a really bad day.

I am in the trenches of potty training with Brynn and it is NOT going well. As of today she has been officially dry for about 3 weeks with only 1 accident. She was so against it at first so we've been putting it off, waiting until she was ready. But with her 3rd birthday approaching we told her we were going to either work on leaving blankie in our room or potty training. She chose potty training. We used the Pull Ups I Go Potty app for my iPhone, she loved it! And Bella would hold the phone, help her push the buttons, and celebrate with her. It was really great and easy and fun for them to do together. Yea, right? Well then comes the business of #2. She literally would hold it all day and save it for bedtime, e-v-e-r-y-n-i-g-h-t. Since she stays dry during nap time and even nights already (Crazy, huh? Guess one advantage of waiting till their older), I decided to put her down with undies on, hoping to prevent her from pooping in them and want to use the potty (biggest mistake EVER). She pooped in them once and then she just stopped pooping all together. After 6 DAYS of not going and complaining about having to go but then refusing to go (in diaper or pull ups or underwear) we finally decided we had to make her go before serious problems arose. After using a you know what in about 45 minutes she PAINFULLY went in a diaper while we "encouraged" her along. So ever since she is of course terrified of going and won't. So for the last week now she pretty much cries at me every 5 minutes to change her but of course she hasn't gone. I ask her if she wants to use the potty, no, ok then go in your diaper, no! I can NOT win. So between Brooke giving me some trouble at night, so therefore not sleeping, and Brynn literally crying at me every 5 minutes I have been at the end of my robe. It is so unnerving to not be able to help her but have her crying for me to do something. I just want to scream!! And with her birthday on Tuesday, which was probably the worst day, it just killed me to be having such a terrible day with her. :(

I just want to be doing right by her and just worry I'm not.
*sigh*

Life in Cell Phone Pics....

Much to my dismay, our life has been captured mostly by my phone these days. It's what I always have on me. Here are some of favs from late.

This is Brooklyn's boyfriend, Landon, they're 3 weeks apart.
They like to hold hands. :)

Got daddy Moose Tracks for his bday and the girls discovered the joy of it. :)
Bella likes to wear her daddy's hat these days.
The other afternoon, I had the whole quiet house to myself, the rest of my fam. was sleeping!
Just precious.

Ok this was too cute! They did this activity at school. Here is Bella's:
And this was Trey's, a boy in Bella's class, had her mom make a copy for me. Ha!
Here was her daddy's response:
"Oh boy. Time to go buy a gun and a rack to display it."
And finally we went out to lunch after school today with two families from Bella's school. They each have two girls. They had a big love fest on our way out (Miss Anna was escaping)!

This is my favorite latest video. Brooke likes to stifle her laughs, it drives me bonkers, she literally uses all her strength to keep her laughter in. But send Bella in and she can get her to belly laugh, love it!

More fun in the Snow...

Since we're up to our ears in it, we're playing in it!

Since there's so much snow, the plow that did our cul-de-sac, left a giant mound in the middle since there was no where for all the snow to go!

I took the girls to play on it the other day and then daddy came and built some slides and stairways.
They had a blast!

Even my little one that lasts 3 seconds out in the cold, was enjoying herself as you can tell from the pics.

Somebody sneaking a little snow to eat. :)

Sitting inside the fort.
Fun in the Snow!
